City Administrator
Responsibilities
The City Administrator is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Mayor and implements the policies and goals of the City Council. The City Administrator is responsible for the following:
- Under the authority of the Mayor provides leadership and oversight for all the City's departments
- Provides efficient and effective operation of city government
- Enforces all laws and ordinances as set out in the Quincy Municipal Code
- Facilitates the Mayor and the City Council’s strategic planning activities
- With the assistance of the Finance Officer keeps the Mayor and City Council informed of the City's business and financial activities
- With the assistance of staff makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on activities and operational policies of the City
- Serves as liaison between the City and civic groups, neighborhood representatives, regional government agencies, neighboring cities and Grant County
Pat Haley
Pat Haley has lived in Eastern Washington for over 40 years and has come to Quincy from East Wenatchee where he previously worked as Executive Director for the Port of Douglas County and Project Engineer for Chelan County PUD. He has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University and a long history of volunteer work with Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, Eastmont High School, youth sports coaching, and local charity groups. Pat is married with three grown children and 4 grandsons.
