Master Park Plan

Welcome to the City of Quincy Master Parks Plan!

In order to remain eligible for outdoor recreation grants from the State Recreation and Conservation Funding Board, a well-thought-out parks, recreation, and open space plan needs to be updated every six years, capturing ideas that address the city’s most relevant issues and needs as they relate to parks. These ideas come from you, the residents of Quincy.

Over the next few months, we will be working to assess all of our current parks, identify deficiencies, and develop a list of improvements to accomplish over the next six years. These planned improvements will come directly from your input. In order for this process to be a success, we need to hear from you. There will be several key opportunities to respond and directly participate, either through online surveys, online mapping exercises, or directly communicating with staff or consultants via phone or email. See tentative schedule below.
